Sprint NextMail Let's You Robo-call 50 Friends & Co-workers

I’m trying to figure out the acceptable use cases for Sprint’s new service:

NextMail Now Available on All Sprint Devices: Exclusive Sprint product boosts productivity for mobile workers, provides instant and accurate documentation

NextMail lets you: instantaneously send a recorded voice message to up to 50 e-mail addresses, or also send the voice message via text message to up to 50 mobile devices and receive a “Listen to” notification.

I can’t imagine a situation in which reading a concise text message is not faster and simpler than having to click on a link in email or a text message and then having to listen to a voice message which may be hard to understand depending on (1) the speaker and (2) the noise situation the listener is in.
