Sprint Gets Serious about Web Access

Doing its part to push mobile Internet usage, Sprint launched Sprint Web, something it describes as a “next-generation mobile Web browsing experience.” The new experience includes a dynamic home page that adapts to deliver fresh content based on the user’s past browsing habits. For instance, if you habitually visit sports sites, your home page will start to feature the top sports stories.

The ailing cellco also made Google the default provider for open Internet search on the phones that support Sprint Web, and provides direct access to Google search on the Sprint Web home page.
