It’s always nice to see a public relations agency — of any size in any region — mold and nurture one its own. Minneapolis-based Spong PR did just that when they announced the promotion of Christine Michaelis (seen with cheese-eating grin here) to vice president.
According to its press release, as well as nicely tuned pitch to the PRNewserverse, Michaelis joined Spong in 2014 as a managing counselor, “providing leadership to client teams in both the fast-growing food and nutrition and the home and design practice groups.”

As a vice president at Spong, I will continue to work with my clients to explore new opportunities that will drive business and communications growth. Coaching and mentoring are passions of mine, so I will also be working with our internal team to sharpen our best-in-class client service skills continually. Finally, I will be helping the agency grow through new business activities.
