M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment will be PR AOR for Bomber Ski, a company that sells performance skis "handcrafted in a small race lab in Italy." The firm will be overseeing all of the company's events and pitching stories to sports and lifestyle media. Some of the company's upcoming products will feature artwork by Keith Haring and Michel Basquiat, who was known to be a "powder hound." Las Vegas agency Preferred Public Relations signed the Sin City location of Urban Turban, a New Zealand-based restaurant inspired by Bombay cuisine. The menu at the chain's first stateside location includes "bottomless curry," which sounds far more flavorful than endless bread sticks. KEEN appointed Verde Brand Communications of Colorado and Wyoming as its agency of record. KEEN is an outdoor/casual footwear brand that manufactures all of its products in the States; the company recently launched the UNKEEK line and made some leadership changes, and Verde will work to "amplify the brand's visibility" via new storytelling intiatives. New York's Andoscia Communications will handle PR duties for Linda's Stuff, the top seller of fashion and accessories on eBay. In case you thought it would be impossible to make a living on eBay, the release tells us that the titular Linda now employs more than 100 people and records "upwards of $25 million in annual sales." Child's Play Communications, also based in New York, added Preggie to its client roster. The new client is a social network designed exclusively for new and expectant moms, and its makers are big fans of community management and comic sans. Global branding/creative design consultancy Brand Union has been named the official brand agency for Shanghai DreamCenter. The center, which is "one of the largest cultural investment projects in China," is basically the mall of your dreams. Brand Union will help with "positioning, naming, brand architecture and visual identity." Our advice, in a phrase: Build-A-Bear Workshop. Magrino is AOR for Sri Panwa, and the firm will be tasked with promoting the "exclusive all villa luxury resort in Phuket, Thailand" to Americans. We might encourage them to watch the Phuket episode of Bizarre Foods; Zimmern is no Bourdain, but he does alright. Trevelino/Keller of Atlanta will be PR AOR for eaHELP®, the leading "executive virtual assistant provider" that will not be played by Scarlett Johansson.
