  • RapidForce, a producer of pain relief adhesives, chose The Halo Group as its AOR for branding/marketing communications. The company spokesperson will be tennis star John Isner, who will help promote the product among athletes and trainers and remind everyone that, unlike Icy Hot, it doesn’t smell like peppermint Lifesavers.

  • New York’s Diffusion will be PR AOR for CyberLink, a multimedia software company founded in Taiwan in 1996. The company produces video/audio editing software and the YouCam Perfect selfie app. Diffusion beat eight other agencies to handle the company’s integrated PR in the US, and while the campaign will focus on trade and consumer publications, we do know of a certain pop star who loves to promote selfie apps…
  • Brookstone, seller of “kinetic sand“, “bed fans” and other novelty products designed to inspire a bit of rubbernecking, signed Blue Wolf Communications as its PR AOR. Blue Wolf will handle media relations, social and event marketing for the company’s coming Holiday 2014 campaign, set to launch this fall.
  • M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment will represent Harlem RBI’s inaugural Celebrity Golf Classic, which will take place at Jersey City’s Liberty National Golf Club in October. The event will feature current and former baseball players, though we hear that Derek Jeter has his own charity to promote.
