SocialFlow, a Facebook Preferred Marketing Developer and social relationship and content-distribution platform, announced several updates to its SocialFlow for Publishers offering.

TheSocialFlowSolution650SocialFlow, a Facebook Preferred Marketing Developer and social relationship and content-distribution platform, announced several updates to its SocialFlow for Publishers offering.

The new features from SocialFlow are aimed at helping bringing publishers paid amplification and analytics capabilities, and they are:

  • Paid amplification: Publishers can now choose to amplify top-performing posts on Facebook or Twitter by turning them into promoted posts or promoted tweets. This allows publishers to grow audience and extend sponsorships into their social posts.
  • Flexible analytics: New reports highlight the most important post-level data, allowing publishers to better understand the performance and sponsorship potential of individual posts. Customized downloadable reports can be created in seconds.
  • Testing tools: Extensive labeling and tagging gives publishers the ability to track what content is driving engagement with key audiences and to A/B test posts. Messages can also be shared across social handles — all in an effort to maximize click-throughs, reach and engagement.
  • Enhanced algorithms: SocialFlow’s industry-leading algorithms have been refined to more accurately show real-time audience attention on each social network, allowing for automated publishing of specific content.

SocialFlow CEO Jim Anderson said in a release announcing the revamped SocialFlow for Publishers:

SocialFlow powers the distribution of content to social networks for many of the world’s most prestigious publishers. That quality content is an important part of the experience of many social media users, and we’re excited to offer publishers even more ways to use social media to grow their businesses.

Effectively promoting and targeting content using paid media, supported by intelligent real-time, intent-based insights is an increasingly important capability for publishers. These capabilities are not just limited to the BuzzFeeds of the world.
