Twitter to Wall Street: We’re Still Bigger Than You Think (Re/code) Twitter repeated a familiar message to Wall Street analysts Wednesday: We reach a lot more people than our monthly active users count lets on. Finally, Twitter will soon let users shoot and upload videos from directly within the Twitter app. The Wall Street Journal/Digits Costolo emphasized the importance of bolstering Twitter’s private messaging function, an area where Facebook and other Internet companies have gained strength with separate apps. “I strongly believe private messaging virality is important to our long-term growth,” he said, adding that new changes to messaging will come starting this quarter.
