Instagram Update Includes Video Uploads, Photo-Straightening (SocialTimes) One month after launching a video-sharing tool, Instagram has returned with new versions of its apps for iOS and Android. For the video portion of the app, Instagram has added the ability for users to upload videos from the media libraries on their phones as well as shooting videos from within the app. Users can trim these videos for length and crop the frame to best fit Instagram’s square shape.
