Players are able to add the virtual car to their in-game garages. Pocket Tanks comes to Kindle [Launch] — BlitWise Productions' retro artillery game Pocket Tanks is now available for Kindle Fire. The title comes in both a free Lite version, as well as a $4.99 version. The Lite version comes with a basic game type and a little under half as many weapons as the premium edition. The latter can also be upgraded with expansion packs that contain more weapons. Gemini Rue coming to iOS this Spring — Acclaimed cyberpunk adventure game Gemini Rue is coming to iPhone and iPad later this year. Developer Wadjet Eyes promises the game's interface is being adjusted for iOS devices, but the game's content will be unchanged. No definite date's been announced for this version yet. Upcoming mobile game to help with cancer research — Charity group Cancer Research U.K. announced it's teaming up with tech gurus from groups like Amazon, Facebook and Google to develop a mobile game that will help speed up research for new cancer drugs. The first part of this process will be holding a weekend game jam where developers turn the charity's raw data into a game format that can be played by "citizen scientists." Gameloft, GREE release Dragon Summoner -- Mobile game developers GREE and Gameloft announced the launch of a new card battle game it created together. The game can be downloaded for free on the iTunes App Store here and on Google Play here. Glu launches Small City -- Mobile game developer Glu launched Small City for iOS, a city management sim and the sequel to Small Street. In the game, players will be able to customize their street, play with friends, help their citizens and collect trophies. You can find the game here. Rovio, DreamWorks partner for The Croods -- Based on the upcoming animated feature by the same name, The Croods will release on iOS and Android on March 14 and will include an exclusive short animated clip. Rovio has dabbled in movie tie-ins before, with projects like Angry Birds Star Wars and Angry Birds Rio, but this will mark the developer’s first game to be based on a movie with no connection to its hugely popular Angry Birds brand.
