U.S. Marketers Spend More Than Twice As Much On Social Ads Per User Than Europeans [STUDY]

Social media advertising spend is rising rapidly around the world, but new research has revealed that advertisers in North America spend more than twice as much on social ads per user than firms in Western Europe, and close to eight times their counterparts in Asia.

Moreover, that gap is widening. eMarketer estimates that $26.05 was spent in North America by advertisers per social network user in 2013, compared with $12.04 in Western Europe and $3.36 in Asia.
