PRNewser reported on some of the Super Bowl PR and marketing campaign winners and losers earlier this week, but as the week progressed, one campaign continued to gain traction.
Due to the popularity of her appearance in a Snickers ad, more than 188,000 people have joined a Facebook group in an effort to make former “Golden Girls” star Betty White a “Saturday Night Live” host.
One would imagine Snickers is happy about the publicity. Although they didn’t start the campaign – as Baynewser reports, the Facebook page has been live since early January – however, their advertisement certainly helped it grow.
Reps for both NBC and White declined to comment.
