Sloane Crosley Leaving Random House
Sloane Crosley has finally determined that there will, in fact, be no cake. She’s leaving her publicist job at Random House next month to focus on writing full time. She was with the book publisher for nine years. Her most recent collection of essays is titled How Did You Get This Number.
Update: Crosley has joined The Independent Magazine as a columnist, with her first essay slated to appear on December 11. Crosley will continue to write for other UK publications and is working on a novel.
