Slice: Shopping companion app updates with mobile recall alerts

Online shopping companion app Slice has been redesigned on iOS and Android, receiving additional features that look to make the app an online shopper’s go-to resource for tracking packages and saving money.

Version 3.0 of the Slice app introduces “Recall Alerts” to the experience. These will notify users of recalls issued by manufacturers, relating to items they’ve previously purchased online. Slice syncs users’ inboxes to find purchase information for anything purchased online (or anything that has an e-receipt), so these Recall Alerts are set to appear automatically, without any extra input from the user.
