I was saving this post to assuage journalists who have been caught in the wave of layoffs, but ironically I myself have just been laid off from my job as part of Time Inc.’s massive restructuring.
10,000 Words will continue as usual because this blog is my passion and a chance to share everything I’ve learned and am learning with the world. I take solace in the fact that my varied skill set makes me a rare find within the journalism industry and I look forward to the challenges the next step in my career will bring.
