You could win $15,000 and all you have to do is shoot a giraffe…with a camera, silly…what did you think we meant? DoUpTo, a platform that lets you buy or sell any service for a small fee, has launched one of the wackiest video contests we’ve ever seen—all you have to do is shoot a funny and crazy video involving a giraffe and you could win $15,000.
Entrants have until September 1 to submit the craziest giraffe video that they can come up with. DoUpTo explains more in a contest video embedded below. “Create a crazy, entertaining-ass video up to 2 minutes long, featuring a giraffe. Bingo! It’s as easy as that. And you don’t even have to go to the zoo. You can use an action figure, your little sister’s furry toy, or even your old man’s high school mascot. Just find a giraffe and shoot it. The sicker it is, the bigger your chances are to win.”
All eligible videos will be presented on DoUpTo.com starting on September 1. The five videos that get the most views in 30 days move on to round 2. These five entrants will have 10 days to get the DoUpTo logo as high as possible. Maybe the winner will get the logo on top of Mount Everest, maybe in an airplane or maybe, just maybe…into outer space! The contestant that manages to get the logo the highest will take home the $15,000 prize.
This video contest is pretty fitting for DoUpTo, and not only because their mascot is a giraffe. DoUpTo pride themselves on offering users outlets for doing some pretty strange and crazy things. They’ve got a WTF category that lets users pay and get paid for services that will make you say, “WTF?!” and an “I Dare You” category, where people can dare each other to do crazy things for money. Find out more in the video below and let us know what you think of this crazy giraffe contest. Will you be shooting a giraffe for the opportunity to win $15,000?
