Shirley Sherrod Sues Andrew Breitbart After All
She waited a few months, but former Georgia director for rural development for the U.S. Department of Agriculture Shirley Sherrod is filing suit against blogger and conservative agitator Andrew Breitbart.
The suit claims Sherrod suffered “defamation, false light and intentional infliction of emotional distress” after Breitbart and fellow Big Government blogger Larry O’Connor, who’s also named in the suit, posted out of context video of Sherrod, in which she appeared to advocate discrimination against white farmers.
