About a month and a half ago, CBSNews.com blogger Shira Lazar got the green light for a new show she pitched to the organization way back in 2009. From 10:00 am to 10:30 am, Pacific Time, starting this past Tuesdsay, May 17th, she will try to get a handle on the biggest stories that are trending across today’s social media hubs, with the help of panelists and an evolving list of contributors.
Lazar spoke via Skype with Beet.TV about the genesis of What’s Trending and her vision for the show as it progresses. It’s being shot at a new studio in Hollywood, with AT&T as the presenting sponsor:
