@SeanHannity? Maybe Soon

hannity_1-14b.jpgIn an interview with TVNewser, FNC’s SVP of programming Bill Shine said Sean Hannity’s new program, which started Monday, will look to incorporate more “new media and digital” components.

“New media and digital are certainly not the direction we went with Hannity & Colmes, but we’re going to go down that road now,” said Shine. “Obviously it is a new and exciting way to reach out to our audience. Every day the news audience in America wants more of that so we’ll be giving it to them.”

Already in place is Hannity’s new blog, so far written by producers, and Hannity’s personal Facebook page, where fans can friend him.

In recent months, Fox News has made a push for a more active presence on Twitter, Facebook, MySpace (also owned by News Corp.) and the blogosphere.
