Over at TVGuide, Schieffer says:
“Quite frankly, I don’t know what I’m going to do after that. I’ll have some sort of relationship with CBS. But I think Inauguration Day is probably going to be my last in the role I have now…
“There was one point [where] I thought I would retire at 70. But they asked me to stay and I was feeling good. I’m going to keep doing what I’m doing through most of next year and at least through the inauguration. Then after that we’ll kind of figure out where we go from there.
