San Diego Magazine Readers Choose 'Best Of' Cover

Last month we told you that San Diego Magazine was breathing a bit of life into the stale “Best Of” concept by allowing readers to chose the cover of this year’s issue. Well, the results are in and on the newsstand. The winning cover features local surfer Kahana Kalama and was designed by Shawn E. Parr. 34% of readers picked the cover you see above and it was apparently the favorite of SD Mag staff as well.
