Samuel Alito and Jake Tapper to Receive 2014 Congressional Medal of Honor Society Awards

At this year’s Medal of Honor convention in Knoxville, Tenn., two familiar faces are set to receive 2014 Congressional Medal of Honor Society Awards.

US Supreme Court Associate Justice Samuel Alito Jr., and CNN Anchor Jake Tapper will be honored at the convention, scheduled for Sept. 10 -13. Alito, an Army veteran, will receive the Patriot Award. Tapper, who authored The Outpost: An Untold Story of American Valor, will receive the “Tex” McCrary Award for Excellence in Journalism.
