A funny bit of funny. The site Designer Daily News put up these product shots, one of a Microsoft mouse made for owners of PCs, the other a Microsoft mouse made for Mac users. The thing is, it’s the exact same mouse, just different packaging. That’s certainly nothing new, as you can find examples of that in nearly every industry, where you’re just trying to sell more effectively to particular markets. The funny part is that it seems to play right into all those notions of the PC market being overwhelmed by bloated, cramped design, whereas Mac stuff is all clean and simple. The site makes a spot-on comparison, and embeds the file, to that “The iPod by Microsoft” video that you and everyone you know watched a couple months back.
