Sam Zell Brings Hope, Leaves Sass At Home--But What About the Moosehead Joke
Tribune Co. CEO Sam Zell visited the Newport News Daily Press newsroom yesterday and didn’t say anything. Sure, he offered a vision of hope and all. But Barack Obama could have given them that. We’re guessing the “D-Press” staff was hoping for a “fuck” here or a “tits” there, but, as it turns out, there was nary a pussy to be found.
You can sense the disappointment just dripping off this story they wrote about it:
Joined on stage by his second-in-command, Randy Michaels, and Daily Press Publisher Digby Solomon, Zell took a more tempered tone compared with more expletive-filled speeches he has delivered at tours of other Tribune newspapers over the last two months.
