Sam Youngman Going Home to Kentucky

Sam Youngman, who covered the 2012 Presidential Election for Reuters, is leaving Washington, DC and moving to Lexington, KY. There, he’ll be covering politics for the Kentucky Herald-Leader. Youngman was born in Lexington, raised in Owensboro, KY and went to Western Kentucky University, so this is a homecoming for him. Youngman told FBDC, “As the Osborne brothers sang, “I can hear Kentucky calling me.”

Before covering the 2012 Election for Reuters, Youngman worked at The Hill covering the White House for four years.
