Rumor: T-Mobile 3G Coming to Your Town Soon?
T-Mobile USA has been the last of the major US wireless carriers to remain “thin-band”. They launched 3G service in a handful of cities last Fall when the T-Mobile G1 launched. But, there didn’t seem to be much information about a broader rollout since then. TmoNew, that source of all things T-Mobile, however, has what they claim (hope) is T-Mobile’s 3G rollout plan.
Here’s the list of cities from the digital photocopy on TmoNews:
April: Shreveport LA; Lubbock & Wichita Falls TX
May: Rockford & Springfield IL; Beaumont, Bryan & College Station TX
June: Henderson NV; Tuscon, Mesa, Scottsdale, Peoria AZ; Colorada Springs & Pueblo CO; Springfield MA; Manchester NH; Portland MEl Brownsville, Corpus Christi, Laredo, & McAllen TX
