Rodale Inc. today announced that Ronan Gardiner has been promoted to publisher, Men’s Health magazine, effective immediately. In his new role, Gardiner will lead print and digital advertising sales and marketing efforts across the brand. He will report directly to Rodale EVP, Group Publisher, Mary Murcko.

Gardiner has played an integral role in the business success of Men’s Health across print, digital and mobile platforms, including Gatorade’s recent presenting sponsorship of the Men’s Health Urbanathlon, a multiplatform deal that includes print, digital, mobile apps, live Q&A’s, and sponsorship of three signature events across the nation.
Gardiner joined Rodale as the advertising director of Men’s Health in 2005, quickly ascended to associate publisher of Men’s Health, and was again promoted to associate vice president and associate publisher of the brand in 2009. He joined Rodale after serving for three years as advertising director at Wenner Media’s Men’s Journal.
