Roll Call Makes New Hires
From an internal email to Roll Call employees:
I am pleased to announce that we have hired Ted Goldman to become our new Senior Editor. Ted will oversee the Vested Interest team as well as work with other reporters, and we believe the entire staff will benefit from his two decades of experience in journalism. Ted has been with Legal Times since 1993 covering Capitol Hill and the lobbying community, including four years with Influence, Legal Times’ separate publication focused on lobbying. Prior to that, Ted made his way across the world writing for the AP (Brussels), St. Pete Times (Florida), Agence France-Press (Hong Kong), and Reuters (Montreal). He starts here on April 30.
And more good news: Andrea Cohen will also come on board April 30 as
production/copy editor. Andrea, a skilled copy editor and page designer at The Examiner, will round out our copy desk and allow others to settle into their new roles. Her experience at The Examiner, where she’s had a wide range of responsibilities (art and page design, copy editing, editing, photography), will provide a new perspective on how we can put the paper together, and we are looking forward to her joining the team.
