Golin announced the opening of an office in Istanbul, formalizing its partnership with Turkish communications consultancy Rekta. The office will be led by Kaan Berkan as managing director. Berkan will join Golin’s global management team and report to president EMEA, Matt Neale. GMR’s Sarah Como has been promoted from senior director to vice president. Sarah began her marketing career as an account coordinator at GMR 18 years ago, and today she is responsible for managing and leading GMR’s marketing-communications team. She will continue to work from GMR’s global headquarters in Wisconsin.
Crosby Marketing Communications has hired Gabrielle Weber as a senior integration manager. In this role, Weber will help manage multi-faceted communications programs for clients in Crosby’s Government practice. Prior to joining Crosby, Weber served as a senior communications specialist at Abt Associates, where her roster of clients included several U.S. Department of Health and Human Services divisions.
