Esmeralda Diaz Cameron, acting communications director for Mayor Cory Booker of Newark, NJ, has given her two weeks notice. She is reportedly leaving the Brick City for a job with a Fortune 30 company. She has said of the move: “The past four years have been a rewarding experience and I am proud to have been part of the historic achievements that are part of the city’s urban transformation under Mayor Booker’s leadership.”
