Cohn & Wolfe has appointed Megha Sharma as associate managing director, India. Sharma, who has led the Delhi office for the past three years, will now also oversee the Mumbai office, with responsibility for client and employee development, as well as new business. She succeedsRafi Khan in this role, who is leaving the company at the end of May. Sharma joined Cohn & Wolfe in 2012 and has led client growth and team development across India. Prior to joining Cohn & Wolfe, Sharma was a Senior Vice President at Fleishman-Hillard, where she was responsible for the management and growth of the Delhi office. (Release)

Porter Novelli has announced two new managing directors in its Southern California and Chicago offices. Linda Martin, partner, will lead the Porter Novelli team in Southern California, while Adam Scholder, senior vice president, will head the Chicago team. Both will be responsible for talent management and the strategic growth of their respective offices. Martin joined Porter Novelli in 2000, and over the past 15 years, she has served as managing director of the agency’s Irvine and San Diego offices. Scholder joined Porter Novelli earlier this year as senior vice president. Previously, he was senior vice president and general manager at Olson Engage. (Release)

Stratacomm LLC has hired Karyn G. Le Blanc as a senior vice president in its Washington, D.C. office. Starting June 1, she will lead the firm’s Infrastructure Practice Group. Previously, Karyn was the communications director for the District Department of Transportation (DDOT). Most recently, Karyn was the communications director at the Downtown Business Improvement District (DBID) where she developed strategies to support its mission, goals, and full spectrum of initiatives.
