Shazam has brought in long-time Yahoo executive Rich Riley to serve as CEO, shifting its own long-serving leader Andrew Fisher into a new executive chairman position.

Shazam has brought in long-time Yahoo executive Rich Riley to serve as CEO, shifting its own long-serving leader Andrew Fisher into a new executive chairman position, the company said today.

The London-based company made explicit that it has brought Riley in to lead the company in a forthcoming IPO.

Riley, at left, began at Yahoo in 1999 and most recently served as its executive vice president of the Americas region.
