Today marks the debut of the revamped (read: reduced) Wall Street Journal.
As we recently reported, the new weekday Journal features two main sections on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursday, and three main sections on Mondays and Fridays. The Business & Tech and Money & Investing sections have been merged into Business & Finance. Greater New York has also been scaled way back and folded into the large “Section A.”
“These changes reflect a world in which both the media industry and your habits as readers are evolving. What will never change is our commitment to bringing you the finest reporting, analysis and commentary—across all of our platforms,” wrote Journal editor Gerard Baker, in a note to readers.
