PlacesEditorReviewOthersSuggestions650Facebook introduced an overhaul of its places editor in a push to encourage more users to ensure that information on places is accurate and up-to-date.

Reader Matteo Gamba of Patience shared the screenshots above and below with AllFacebook, noting that the user interface is much more polished and functional.

Facebook users can use places editor to correct inaccurate information spotted in check-ins, such as spelling errors or wrong addresses, and the new top bar allows users who contribute to see how many other users they have helped with their edits.

All edits are screened and accepted by editors from Facebook.
