Reuters Names Multimedia Managing Editor
Thomson Reuters announced two moves atop the editorial staff for its Reuters division, with an eye toward multimedia.
Mark Thompson was named managing editor, multimedia. He had been managing editor, Europe, Middle East, and Africa. He will oversee Reuters TV, pictures, and graphics, reporting to global editor of multimedia Chris Cramer.
Brian Rhoads will assume Thompson’s former role as managing editor, Asia. Currently managing editor for the Americas, Rhoads will move from New York to Hong Kong, continuing to report to global managing editor Betty Wong.
