- Sue Horton has been named West Coast-based top news editor at Reuters. She comes to the company from The LA Times, where she had served as opinion editor for the past six years. Horton had been with the LA Times for 13 years. She previously served as LA Weekly‘s editor-in-chief, from 1994 to 2000. Horton is succeeding Peter Henderson, who has been named deputy editor for companies.
