Elizabeth Taylor passed away yesterday at the age of 79, leaving millions of mourners behind who are showing an outpouring of love for the iconic film actress on Twitter. RIP Elizabeth Taylor was trending for the better part of the day, and for good reason.
What’s particularly poignant, though, is going back through her @DameElizabeth Twitter feed and seeing her words in a different light. She was especially active on July 22, 2011, with the following tweets:
