Resetting a forgotten password on Twitter has always been a pretty simple affair – all you need is full access to the email address connected to your profile.

Oh… you don’t know the password for that? Or it’s a business email that you no longer have access to? Sorry: looks like you might be in trouble.

Twitter recognises that this is a problem, and with one eye on maintaining user safety – it should never be too easy to reset a password, after all – they’ve introduced a new password reset process to make it less frustrating when you want to get back into your account.
