Jeremy Jacobs, formerly of Campaigns & Elections Magazine, has sent a goodbye letter to friends and sources, or, as Politico‘s Mike Allen likes to say, “friend sources.” As we’ve reported, Jacobs is going to work as editor of NJ‘s “Hotline On Call.”

I hope everyone is doing well and getting some down time this August. I am writing to let you know that I am leaving Campaigns and Elections magazine. Starting August 16, I will be the new editor of National Journal’s Hotline On Call.
