Veteran Reporter Jennifer Jordan 'Wanted to Do Anchoring Again,' Heads to Cleveland

Jennifer Jordan is leaving her hometown for a shot at regular anchoring. Jordan, who left WPIX last Friday, is joining Fox’s WJW in Cleveland.

“I wanted to get to do anchoring again,” Jordan tells FishbowlNY. “I love being on the streets and telling stories as well.”

Jordan says the Cleveland opportunity was the perfect fit, as she’ll be noon anchor and reporter for 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. nightly newscasts.

Primarily known for her no-nonsense approach covering stories on the street, Jordan had been a freelance reporter with Channel 11 since 2009.
