Remembering Robin...
Lots of folks headed to the Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament today to remember New York Times reporter Robin Toner, who passed away recently from colon cancer.
It was described to us as “heartbreaking,” especially when Robin’s husband, LA Times’ chief economic correspondent Peter Gosselin, delivered a powerful eulogy, addressing it directly to the couple’s 11-year-old twins, Jacob and Nora.
As for notable attendees: Bill Keller, Jill Abramson, Rick Berke and Jonathan Landman from the Times’ New York mothership.
