It’s been a long road to the 2016 presidential elections, but now that they’re over before a single Iowan has raised a hand or huddled by their favorite candidate, we should take stock of the pre-primary portion of the primary season that will soon fade into a memory of a fever dream, or, more likely, grow into an even bigger fever dream when real votes will cause things to get real come February.
