- Refinery29 has named Shyema Azam Middle East beauty correspondent. Azam is based in Dubai and will report on “everything from the best brands and products coming out of the region to the latest beauty stars,” explained Refinery29 beauty features director Megan McIntyre. “She’ll also tackle heavy-hitting issues around Muslim beauty, and the misconceptions people have about it.”
- Consumer Reports has added Eric Hagerman as content development team leader for its home and appliance coverage.
