After an earlier FishbowlDC post, some folks wondered whether Elspeth Reeve, the New Republic fact-checker and wife of Scott Thomas Beauchamp, had left the magazine.
Indeed she has, FishbowlDC has learned, but not for any sinister reasons. Her year-long internship had expired and she is currently working as a research assistant for Mike Grunwald
Of the two other reporter-researchers, Isaac Chotiner left for the Huffington Post and Brad Plumer was promoted to assistant editor.
