Netflix CEO Reed Hastings announced that he would leave the board of directors at Google, in an effort to cut back on outside board seats, but he still has plenty of time for Facebook.
Silicon Alley Insider reported that Netflix Chief Communications Officer Jonathan Friedland confirmed that the only board of directors Hastings was leaving was that of Google, meaning that he will remain aboard at the social network.
His decision to remain on Facebook’s board marks another show of support for the social network, following his purchase in August of roughly $1 million worth of shares in the company.
