Yahoo recruits former Time Inc. editor in chief Martha Nelson. She’ll be global editor in chief, overseeing the company’s stable of 13 digital magazines. Amazingly, “not a single one of these publications existed when Nelson started with Time Inc. in 2002 or left in 2013.” My, how the world has changed… Dave Nemetz, who scored big as a co-founder of Bleacher Report, launches Inverse. Former Maxim deputy editor Andrew Burmon joins as managing editor, with Sam Eifling leaving The New Republic to be deputy editor.
