Les Moonves moves up at CBS Corp. The CEO and president takes over the chairman spot from Sumner Redstone, who’s seen his role reduced in recent years. “I am honored to accept the chairmanship of this great Company,” Moonves said in a statement. “I want to thank Sumner for his guidance and strong support over all these years. It has meant the world to me.” The stock spiked on the news. Meanwhile, Philippe Dauman is the new executive chairman at Viacom, replacing Redstone.
