Random Poll Says Springsteen Should Write New Anthem

Stop the presses? 60/Vanity Fair are out with the results of a brand new poll this morning. The questions are about a random as it gets. Who should create a new national anthem? Their poll says Bruce Springsteen tops the list, followed by Dolly Parton. Madonna comes in last place.

Specifically, 22 percent of Americans say they would choose Springsteen, though Parton gets 19 percent of the vote. Stevie Wonder is a close third (18 percent), followed by Bob Dylan (11 percent), John Williams (10 percent), Jay-Z (8 percent), and Madonna (5 percent).
