Rainn Wilson Debunks Facebook Statuses, Helps Stop Malaria

Pretty much everyone has been guilty at one time or another of posting a cheesy, inspirational Facebook status update. Rainn Wilson, known for playing Dwight Schrute on the U.S. version of popular television show "The Office," wants to put a stop to the cheese. In a YouTube video, he counters happy-go-lucky Facebook status updates with cold, hard facts. He's not doing it to be mean, but rather in an effort to stop malaria deaths in Africa, in a partnership with CollegeHumor.

CollegeHumor Wednesday launched the Malarious campaign, teaming up with celebrities such as Wilson, Kobayashi, Weird Al Yankovic, and Nick Offerman in an effort to raise money for Malaria No More.
