Rage Against the U.K. Christmas Machine
“Killing in the Name,” by Rage Against the Machine, doesn’t quite come to mind when considering Christmas songs, but thanks to a Facebook page, RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE FOR CHRISTMAS NO. 1, the song that repeats the non-Christmas refrain, “Fuck you, I won’t do what you told me,” topped the favorite, Joe McElderry, winner of Simon Cowell’s X Factor reality show, in the United Kingdom and won the title of No. 1 U.K. Christmas song, Mashable reported.
The Facebook page totaled nearly 1 million fans and spurred some 500,000 purchases of Killing in the Name, topping 450,000 for the McElderry song, Mashable reported.
