Radiohead to Finally Sell Back Catalog on iTunes

A TechRadar report said that Radiohead fans will finally get the chance to download the band’s back catalog from iTunes—ending one of the last stand-offs between a major band and Apple’s online music store.

radiohead_inrainbows.jpgThe band had maintained that they prefer fans to buy entire albums, rather than individual singles. Last year they bucked industry trends and released their album In Rainbows as a pay-what-you-want digital download, though they have since said they would offer no more freebies.

That leaves the Beatles, AC/DC, Tool, and few others, really, that still aren’t selling tracks in the iTunes Store, which is far and away the number one online retailer (and is also now the number one music retailer overall, too).
